HEAR YE, HEAR YE! The Canoe Race is Coming! The 32nd year of the Millard Fillmore Memorial Canoe Race Classic will be Saturday May 19th starting from the Highway W Bridge at 10:00am. Behind Menard’s. Application forms are now available in the Activities Office; students under the age of 18 MUST have parent permission. Applications MUST be returned by Friday May 18th. Questions?? See Mr. Zeman in Room 223. Prizes will be awarded for division winners and best themed/dressed canoe.

The library will be staffed to assist students that need to catch up with apex or other missing work. We would like the stress to be on the seniors that are not passing or need apex but freshmen through juniors can also attend.Tuesday: Ms. Vogg from 2:45 to 4:00

Attention all boys soccer players planning on playing next fall: there will be a short but very important meeting after school on Thursday May 17th. in Mr. Molitor's room. We will be discussing practices, tryouts, fundraisers, and the new field at Bushnell Park. Please try to be there.
NEED SERVICE LEARNING HOURS? Waller School is running a fundraiser called Chrysler drive for the Kids at Waller elementary on June 2nd. This is similar to the Ford drive done at the high school last week. However, we are going to be doing fun stuff for the kids - face painting, crafts, and games. I am hoping to get some high school students to help out. Here are the details: The event is going to be held at Waller school on Saturday, June 2nd from 9:30 - 1:00. If interested, the hours would be from about 9:00 - 1:00 or 1:30. I am looking for volunteers to help with face painting, crafts, and various games in the gymnasium (sports type games, not carnival games) If interested, please contact Rachel Harder at (262) 210-1934 or rharder75@gmail.com

FFA members who want to see the "FFA End-of-Year Video" will need to turn-on a t.v. during homeroom on Tuesday, May 22nd. FFA members interested in working at the Chocolate Fest Petting Zoo next weekend need to see Mrs. Rogahn ASAP! Community service hours and free tickets will be given.
Attention all current DRIVEN students, you have a mandatory meeting in Mr. Nie's room during your assigned lunch this Tuesday May 22nd. This is our last meeting of the year. It is imperative that you be there for end of the year activities. See you Tuesday.
Attention all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who have never been in DRIVEN before, but applied for DRIVEN next year. Your application process is almost complete, but there is one more step. You must come to Mr. Nie's room on Thursday May 24th during your assigned lunch. Get your lunch and come down to room 119 next to WBSD. If you want to be part of DRIVEN next year, but cannot attend on Thursday, it is important that you see Mr. Behringer or Mr. Nie right away. Again this is for all students who were not part of DRIVEN this year, but want to join next year. See you during your lunch on Thursday.

Elementary Summer School is looking for volunteers from July 9th through August 9th, Monday –Thursday from 8:00-11:00 at Waller Elementary School. If you are interested in helping out with the breakfast and lunch program your hours would be from 7:30-11:30. All students should be dressed appropriately when volunteering in the classroom to work with children. Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

A reminder to ALL FFA members that our chapter banquet is tonight, Monday, May 14th! The potluck dinner starts at 6:30 in the cafeteria followed by the banquet at 7:15 in the auditorium. All FFA members will be recognized.
Service Learning Hour Opportunity: Waller school is having an early release skate on Wednesday, May 16th. If any high school student is interested in helping, contact Rachel Harder: rharder75@gmail.com or 262-210-1934. We meet at the school at 1:00 then walk over to TraXside. Skating ends at 3:15. High school students skate for free.
Attention all Driven applicants. If you are applying for DRIVEN 1, DRIVEN 2, OR DRIVEN 3--all applications must be completed in FULL, and handed to Mr. Behringer before 4 pm on Friday May 18th. All incomplete applications will not be considered. This year Driven will be capped at a certain number, so due to the competitiveness, please make sure you see Mr. Behringer or Mr. Nie with any questions on the applications ASAP!
