Over the last number of years, Burlington High School has gone through many changes. We have moved back to the Southern Lakes Conference from the Southeast Conference and the community supported a referendum that allowed us to build a new high school facility and athletic complex. Burlington High School now has some of the best facilities around and a campus that we are very proud of. With all the changes and new surroundings a group of coaches felt it was important not to forget our past and the rich history of Burlington High School Athletics. From these discussions, a Burlington High School Athletic Wall of Fame committee was formed and an annual class is selected each year.
Who Is Eligible:
- Any former Burlington High School Athlete
- Athlete must have graduated at least 10 years ago
- Athletes who were outstanding in their sport(s)
- Non graduate coach, administrator, or community member who has contributed their time and efforts to fulfill the mission of Burlington High School and its athletic program.
When: Nominations will be accepted anytime. To be eligible for the Inductions, nominations must be received by April 1st of each year. If an athlete is nominated and not selected, they will automatically remain in the nominee pool.
Where: Induction will be a part of a home athletic event. Date will be determined later.
