The district continues to practice energy management and conservation throughout the district using Siemens building automation system (BAS) scheduling the HVAC equipment during occupied and unoccupied times. In addition to systems management, there is a continuing effort by building occupants to practice energy conservation.

Using the 2003-2004 school year usage and cost, the savings are measured as a cost avoidance.
