Hi. I am Mrs. Cathie Zlevor. My family and I moved to Burlington in 1995. I have taught in the Burlington Area School District since 1995 at Winkler and Cooper Elementary Schools. Before that I lived and taught in Racine for ten years. I have taught all grades kindergarten through eighth. I especially love teaching lower primary. It is so rewarding to see young children learn and grow.
I attended UW Eau Claire and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Carthage College. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Aurora University.
My husband, Mark, and I have been married for many years! We have 2 grown sons, Don (Kelly) and Erik (Kate). Both are graduates of Burlington High School. We have two wonderful grandsons, children of Don and Kelly.
When I am not teaching I enjoy many outdoor activities with my husband, including hiking, biking, kayaking, traveling and playing with my dog. I also spend lots of time with my grandsons.
You can contact me at Cooper School between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
As I begin my 32nd year of teaching I want to welcome all children and parents to my classroom. I look forward to a wonderful year!
