Welcome to the Montessori Kindergarten Program. My name is Leah Nickolai and I am very excited to get know you and your child.
To introduce myself, I graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I then went on to graduate from Aurora University with my Masters Degree in Education. I also received my Early Childhood Certification from Viterbo University.
This is my third year teaching at Cooper Elementary School. I previously worked in the Delavan/Darien School District for two years and the Rock/Walworth Head Start Program for one year. I have also been a substitute teacher in the Burlington School District.
I am from Burlington and really enjoy the area and all the community has to offer. Outside of teaching, I enjoy acting in community theatre, singing in local choirs, and playing and coaching tennis.
Kindergarten is a very exciting year. I am eager to share my excitement for learning with you and your child. I look forward to the opportunity to share in your child’s learning and growing experiences. It is my goal to meet the needs of your child, to motivate your child and to be a wonderful role model in the classroom. I encourage and welcome your availability to volunteer whenever the need arises.
Feel free to contact me at any time. I can be reached by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 262-763-0180.
