Parents Place of Waukesha is a family resource center located within PPAC, Inc. (Prevention and Protection of Abused Children, Inc.) for families with children ages 0-18. Parents Place offers support groups, parenting classes, parenting education, resource support, and classes for children.
Some of the parenting classes offered include: Triple P, Love and Logic, Kids Managing Anger, Parenting: the Early Years, Strengthening Families, The Strong-Willed Child, and Big Emotions-Meltdowns and Tantrums. Due to COVID-19, programs are being offered virtually.

Love and Logic - Love and Logic is a philosophy founded by Jim Fay and Foster Cline and provides simple and practical techniques to help parents have less stress and more fun while raising responsibile children. This curriculum provides immediate results with techniques like: setting limits with enforceable statements, sharing control through lots of small choices, and many more. Become a Love and Logic parent and unlock the secret of successful parenting with these effective techniques.

Parents United Consortium - The Parents United Consortium is a non-profit consortium of 18 Waukesha County special education departments that have united to provide an educational community service. The mission of the group is to present timely and informative information, in a neutral forum, for the parents and professionals who work with children. The lectures and presentations offered each school year provide essential links, knowledge, and networking to the entire community for the ultimate benefit of children.
Both daytime and night time programs are offered. Past topics have included: Anxiety and School Avoidance, Substance Abuse, Autism, ADHD Interventions for Home and School, Mental Health Troubled Waters, Understanding the Impact of Trauma in Children and Adolescents, Transition, Sexuality and Children with Special Needs, How to be an Effective Squeaky Wheel, and Building and Maintaining Peer Relationships.

The Parenting Network - The Parenting Network works to empower anyone in a parenting role – mothers, fathers, grandparents or other relatives raising children, stepparents, foster parents, adoptive parents – to provide a safe and nurturing home for their children.
Most agency services are free, voluntary, confidential, and easily accessible. Various parenting classes are offered.

Positive Solutions - Attention Parents of Young Children (Ages 0 to 6)
Are you looking for new ways to get your children to listen more often?
Do you want ideas on how to help your child develop strong friendship skills?
Do you want less stress in your home?
If you answered “yes”, then the Positive Solutions workshop series is for you. The workshops help parents of young children learn strategies to promote positive behavior. Parents attend six workshops that focus on different topics each week.
