Peter began as Superintendent of the Burlington Area School District on July 1, 2012 after serving 16 years as Burlington’s Assistant Superintendent – Business Services.  Prior to that position Peter was the Vocational/Computer Coordinator for the district.  Peter started his career as a teacher in the Wisconsin Dells School District in 1982.

Peter, originally from Stoughton, Wisconsin received his bachelors degree from UW-Platteville and his masters from UW-Madison.  He also received further education certifications from UW-Whitewater and University of St. Thomas.
