Puddl’n = Puddles + Jumping
This may not be one of my “best” pictures, but it is indicative of the qualities I hold dear to my heart: fun, family, and a sense of adventure. Whether it’s reading a book, examining the best way to educate children, or just jump’n in puddles, I bring a lot of love into each leap.
I also bring an elementary education degree from Stetson University, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University, a master’s degree in reading from St. Xavier University, and an administrative certificate from Aurora University.
Adding to the ripples of my puddles are the four big splashes in my life, my husband Jim, an English teacher, my 11 year-old Josie, a seamstress and reader, my 10 year-old Ben, an army-man-liner-upper and a fisherman, and my 110 pound chocolate lab, Charlie.
Besides puddl’n, on rainy days, and during down-time, I play games with my family, enjoy long dinners outside in our gazebo, and when the puddles are all dried, my favorite vacation is a cabin in the woods where I read, Jim fishes, Josie and Ben collect bugs, Charlie takes lazy naps, and we all hike.
