Welcome and thank you for taking the time to stop by!
I have been an English teacher at Burlington High School since 2005. Since then, I have served as BHS Feminist Club Advisor, National Honor Society Advisor, Class of 2008 and 2010 Advisor, Freshmen Decision-Making Facilitator, and Diversity Circles Co-Chair, among many others. The classes I teach include English Foundations, English 10, Honors British Literature, Contemporary Literature, and Women's Literature. I have also supervised our summertime credit recovery program.
Through my commitment to lifelong learning, I have cultivated a broad skill-set that enables me to support my students. I majored in English Education (and minored in Special Education) at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. A few years later, I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Concordia University. In 2018, I earned my Master's degree in Educational Leadership (School Administration) through Cardinal Stritch University.
Should you need to contact me, it is best to send an email. I am frequently at my computer throughout the day, but rarely in the English Office to receive a phone call. I will be checking email on a daily basis, so please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you this year!
Warmly,
Laura Jablonski
