Student Climate Survey
A positive school climate is the product of a school’s attention to fostering safety; promoting a supportive academic, disciplinary, and physical environment; and encouraging and maintaining respectful, trusting, and caring relationships throughout the school community.
Why Survey?
Research suggests that the quality of the school climate may be the single most predictive factor in any school's capacity to promote student achievement and student wellness.
What will be asked?
The survey questions link to three core areas: Student Voice, Wellness, and School Pride. We believe these core areas represent our students’ feelings about whether they feel a sense of belonging or not within Burlington schools and feel connected to peers and adults within their school.
