Kindergarten Pollinators

Posted Date: 12/01/25 (12:00 PM)

Kindergarten students made bees and each child took turns pretending they were a bee traveling from flower to flower to experience what pollination is like. They used different colors of sand to act as pollen so the kids could see how pollen gets picked up and dropped off as bees travel from flower to flower.  They got to look at the flowers at the end of the activity and noticed each flower had different colors of sand indication each flower was pollinated.

They also got to sample honey.  They had mixed reactions about the taste. 🐝 🍯 💐
