4K – 7 Grade Elementary Summer School

  • 4K – 7th Grade Elementary Summer School
    • Dates: Monday – Thursday, June 8 -July 9 (no school on Fridays or July 2)
    • Time: 8:00-11:00 am
    • Location: Karcher Middle School

  • No, any area student can register and attend BASD Elementary Summer School.

  • There are no fees for Summer School!

  • Yes, 4K-7th grade must attend the full morning time from 8:00-11:00 am.

  • Elementary students can attend just 3 days, if necessary.

  • Yes, free meals are optional and served at Karcher Middle School!

    Breakfast is offered from 7:15-8:00 am
    Lunch is offered from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm 

  • 4K – 7th Grade
    Print and complete the registration form (both English & Spanish).  Be sure to register your student for their current year in school.  Turn in completed registration form to any BASD School Office. 

     

  • Completed registration forms are due by Tuesday, June 5, 2026.  Please turn in at any BASD School Office.

9-11 Grade Summer School

  • ​​​​9th-11th Grade High School Summer School
    • Dates:  Monday – Thursday, June 8 – July 9 (no school Fridays or July 2)
    • Time:  7:45 am – 12:00 pm (times varies for different classes)
    • Location:  Karcher Middle School

 

9th–11th Grade FAQ’s

  • We are pleased to offer 3-Full Credit summer school classes:

    1. Consumer Economics (Meets Junior Financial Literacy Requirement)
    2. Health
    3. Physical Education
    • Current 9th – 11th grade

    • Current 10th & 11th grade
      • Consumer Economics
    • Session 1:  7:45 – 9:45 am 
      • Physical Education
    • Session 2:  10:00 am – 12:00 pm

      • Consumer Economics
  • Students can miss a maximum to 4 days, however students will be required to make up work from any absences.  

    • Students absent from Summer School for more than four sessions will be dropped and given a FAILING GRADE on their transcript.
    • Students who drop a full credit course after the first week will receive a FAILING GRADE.
    • Summer School full credit courses may require some outside-of-class work time.
    • The regular school rules concerning conduct and behavior apply in the summer session.
    • The program is available to all residents of BASD.
  • Complete the 25-26 Summer School Full Credit Program registration form.

    You will be emailed about whether or not you are enrolled and you will be able to see it on your Skyward schedule.  Students will be prioritized by grade first (Juniors first, then Sophomores, then Freshmen), and then by the date and time of registration.

     

  • Credit Recovery Summer School information will be sent out separately near the end of the school year.
