A big thank you to the Literski family for adding some beautiful fall decor to our main entrance! What a warm and festive way to welcome our Waller family and friends. 🍂

Monthly Math Challenge 

At the beginning of every month, Mrs. Shepherdson has Math Challenge papers available for each grade level.  At the bottom of the paper, it will say:  Math Challenge.  This is optional for students to do and should be completed on his or her own if possible.  Students usually have a month to complete it.  When your child has finished the paper, he or she will return it at school.  Your child will then receive a Bear Buck, and their name will be displayed on the Waller Announcement's Page. 

Paul Bunyan Breakfast 
To wrap up their first Knowledge Unit on Fairy Tales and Tall Tales, our second graders celebrated with a Paul Bunyan–style flapjack breakfast! Students came dressed as their favorite characters and even got a special visit from Tryg, the high school therapy dog—who joined in as the “big blue ox.” The kids loved spending time with him, making it a fun and memorable morning!

Save the Date - Waller PTO Trunk or Treat 

Join us in the Waller Parking Lot for an evening of fun for the whole family!  Decorate your trunk, pass out treats, and enjoy some music.  We encourage everyone to decorate your trunk, BUT it is not required to participate in the Trunk or Treat! However, it is required to bring a treat to pass out! A prize will be given to the Top 3 best decorated Trunks! Parking spots are based upon arrival, so plan accordingly with your friends that you’d like to park next to.  

What to bring? Chairs, drinks (no alcohol or glass, please!) and plenty of candy/treats to hand out to all the Trunk or Treaters.   

In the event of inclement weather we will be moving our event indoors.  Please have a back-up candy container that can be brought inside. This could be a decorated box or bowl.  

Schedule of events: 

5:30pm - 6pm: Arrival and Trunk Setup (Parking lot will be closed at 5:45)

6pm: Costume Parade

6:15-6:45: Trunk or Treating

6:45: Clean Up and Dismissal (for the safety of all, you will not be able to leave until dismissal time)

A paper copy of the registration form will be sent home, but we also have an online form you can submit:
**All children must be accompanied by an adult**
