As we head into spring break, we want you and your family to have a fun and safe time. Traveling, getting together and changes in routine can sometimes increase the spread of common illnesses like colds, the flu, stomach viruses and other communicable diseases. Help us keep our students and schools healthy using the following tips. |

 🎳 Project RISE Bowling Fun! 🎳
Students from Project RISE enjoyed a fun field trip to Town and Country Lanes this past week! They had a blast bowling alongside their classmates and sharing lots of smiles and laughter.

Kenosha Kingfish Game – June 17 ⚾ The date is set for Waller Night at the Kenosha Kingfish game! Students who participated in the Lil’ Fish Reading Program will receive two free tickets to the game on Wednesday, June 17. More details will be sent home with your student on Friday.
Congratulations to Emmy Schmidt for being Waller’s top reader! She will have the honor of throwing out the first pitch. We’re looking forward to a fun night at the ballpark this summer!
 The 2026 Kiwanis Art Show will feature BASD students in grades KG–12 from March 17 through April 30 at BHS and the Burlington Public Library. We hope you enjoy viewing the incredible artwork created by our students!

We hope you can join us for a fun night of roller skating at Traxside! This is a fundraiser for Waller, and a portion of each admission will be donated back to the school. The event will take place on Thursday, April 16, from 5:30–8:00 PM. |

"Talking Back to Perfectionism"
More than 30% of children and adolescents today show elevated levels of perfectionism. This can increase their risk for depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Dr. Langely will discuss the three different types of perfectionism and how the influence of social media can have a direct impact. He will also share effective tools for supporting children.
