Waller Weekly Newsletter
March 20, 2026
There will be no school from March 23 - 27 as we take the time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends.
We hope your family has a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled break! Whether you're traveling, spending time outdoors, or enjoying time at home, we hope it’s a wonderful time.
We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday, March 30th!
Spring Break Health Tips

As we head into spring break, we want you and your family to have a fun and safe time. Traveling, getting together and changes in routine can sometimes increase the spread of common illnesses like colds, the flu, stomach viruses and other communicable diseases. Help us keep our students and schools healthy using the following tips.

Project RISE Field Trip
🎳 Project RISE Bowling Fun! 🎳
Students from Project RISE enjoyed a fun field trip to Town and Country Lanes this past week! They had a blast bowling alongside their classmates and sharing lots of smiles and laughter.
Kenosha Kingfish Game
Kenosha Kingfish Game – June 17
The date is set for Waller Night at the Kenosha Kingfish game!
Students who participated in the Lil’ Fish Reading Program will receive two free tickets to the game on Wednesday, June 17. More details will be sent home with your student on Friday.

Congratulations to Emmy Schmidt for being Waller’s top reader! She will have the honor of throwing out the first pitch.
We’re looking forward to a fun night at the ballpark this summer!
Kiwanis Art Show
The 2026 Kiwanis Art Show will feature BASD students in grades KG–12 from March 17 through April 30 at BHS and the Burlington Public Library. We hope you enjoy viewing the incredible artwork created by our students!

Save the Date!  April 16th / Waller Night at Traxside

We hope you can join us for a fun night of roller skating at Traxside! This is a fundraiser for Waller, and a portion of each admission will be donated back to the school.
