Next Steps:
Step One: If this is the first student to enroll in BASD, then complete the Online New Student Registration Form to get a username and password in Skyward Family Access. Then, complete the application form to enroll in Skyward. To enroll, the parent or guardian needs to provide the following:
- Student Information (complete Racial/Ethnic Form and Home Language Survey)
- Parent/Guardian Information
- Medical Dental Information. This is the doctor's contact information. Health Forms (English / Spanish) can be turned into the school's health aide before school starts.
- Emergency Contact Information
- Requested Documents: Upload photos of Birth Certificate and Proof of Residency
- 5K preference (Traditional or Montessori). BASD will confirm placement in June. Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Step Two: The district will send an email to confirm we received the enrollment.
- The district will attach health forms (English / Spanish) that can be turned in before school starts (preferably no later than August).
Step Three: In August, all students register in Skyward for the school year to update contact information and pay student fees. Each school hosts an open house to meet so your child can meet the teacher and see the classroom.
Step Four: Attend the first day of school! BASD has a staggered start date for 5K to help students get comfortable in their classroom and to get to know the teacher.
