As per the KMS and BHS Band Handbooks, attendance is REQUIRED for all band students at all band performances throughout the school year. If a student cannot attend a performance due to unforseen circumstances (illness, family emergency, etc.), an alternate assignment will be given in lieu of concert attendance.
2024-2025 KMS Band Concert Dates
ALL BAND STUDENTS are required to participate in three concerts throughout the school year. Call time for students is at 6:30 pm for each concert.
KMS Bands Winter Concert -- Tuesday, December 10th @ 7:00 in the KMS Gymnasium
BASD Band-O-Rama -- Monday, March 10th @ 7:00 pm in the BHS Gymnasium
BASD Bands Jazz Concert -- Monday, April 28th @ 7:00 pm in the BHS Auditorium (required for jazz band members only)
KMS Spring Band Concert -- Tuesday, May 13th @ 7:00 pm in the KMS Gymnasium
*Concert Attire: Concert attire for all BASD performances is concert black formal attire. The Karcher Middle School music department is moving to a KMS Music t-shirt (order forms coming in October 2024) on top, black bottoms, and black closed-toe shoes. KMS dress code applies.
