Reading Specialist- reading intervention Email Phone: 262-763-0185 Welcome to my webpage and the 2023 school year. My name is Ms. Trisha Lynch-Reyes, and I am very excited to be starting my 6th year within BASD. I will be continuing my work with reading intervention and literacy support within the classroom grades 5K-5th. I look forward to having a great 2023-2024 school year with everyone! I have been teaching for 18 years and have spent my teaching career doing a few different things. I spent 7 years in first grade as a classroom teacher then I moved into a dual role where I was a part-time resource teacher and part-time reading interventionist for 4 years. In that role I spent time supporting individual or small groups of students, doing reading intervention, coaching within the literacy blocks, planning and implementing literacy curriculum K3-5th grade, and working closely with classroom teachers on all aspects of literacy within the school. I continued my path in reading as I joined BASD in 2018. I have my Masters in Education with a reading focus, my Reading Teacher License-316, and my Reading Specialist License-317. I am a lifelong learner and have been engaging in new learning opportunities through various book clubs, blogs, and groups I belong to. I hope to share my passion for literacy, books, and learning with my students and help them to see their potential. Even though I focus on literacy, I strive to form strong relationships with students and families and work to build their confidence and success in all areas of school. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, dabbling in improving my green thumb, walking, and of course reading.
