Welcome to Karcher Middle School Athletics & Intramurals

Karcher Middle School provides opportunities for participation in competitive sports to help develop young student-athletes.  Students should listen to daily announcements for information on sports. This webpage has some important links.

Karcher Middle School competes in the Southern Lakes Middle-Level Conference. The Southern Lakes Middle-Level Conference includes Delavan-Darien, East Troy, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, and Waterford Graded school districts, bringing competitions closer to Burlington for both student-athletes and their fans.

COMPETITIVE SPORTS require the family and the student athlete to register online via a Google Form.  A physical also must be on file with the Health Office at Karcher Middle School.   There is an athletic fee of $75 per sport for middle school athletics per school year.  

At the middle school level, these are the following  COMPETITIVE SPORT OPTIONS:  

• Cross-Country (Boys & Girls) - Grades 6, 7, 8
• Wrestling (Boys & Girls) - Grades 6, 7, 8
• Boys Basketball - Grades 7 & 8
• Girls Basketball - Grades 7 & 8
• Girls Volleyball - Grades 7 & 8
• Track (Boys & Girls) - Grades 7 & 8

INTRAMURAL SPORTS offer a less-competitive way to play, practice, and learn. No registration or physical exam is needed. 

Assuming there is coaching staff available, Karcher Middle School offers the following  INTRAMURAL OPTIONS:

• Boys Basketball - Grade 5 & 6
• Girls Basketball - Grade 5 & 6
• Boys Volleyball - Grade 5 - 8
• Girls Volleyball - Grade 5 - 8
• Boys Track - Grade 5 & 6
• Girls Track - Grade 5 & 6
• Fall Dance - Grade 5 - 8
• Winter Dance - Grade 5 - 8
