Grade 2 Teacher Email Phone: 262-539-2726 Welcome! My name is Julie Caufield and I am so lucky to be working with second graders again this year! Many of you may recognize me from the past as I spent a lot of time volunteering as a parent, working as an aide at Waller, teaching summer school, and substitute teaching at Dover, Waller, Winkler, Lyons, Cooper, Dyer... you name it. Anyway, I am now a grateful, full-time employee teaching second grade at wonderful, Winkler School.
I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of science in Elementary Education and am certified K-6 in Wisconsin. The early part of my career was spent teaching early childhood, kindergarten and first grade outside of Orlando, Florida. Yes, after growing up in northern Minnesota I was ready for a move to Florida! Summers brought me back to my family in the midwest. I have four beautiful children, Billy, Peggy, Kelly and Kevin who are all graduates of Burlington High School.
Working at Winkler is a perfect fit for me. I am so lucky to be able to do something I love!
