Emergency Assistance Program: A person facing a current emergency due to fire, flood, natural disaster, an energy crisis, or homelessness (including potential eviction) due to a financial crisis. Eligibility requirements apply, along with required documentation.
Families (must be children residing in the household) must be facing a situation of homeless/pending homelessness, along with a financial crisis (loss of income, job loss, etc.). Everyone in the family must also be a resident of Wisconsin and a citizen or qualified alien of the United States. In addition, your bills must be more than the funds you have available to pay those bills for the month of the emergency and you have pursued all other financial options first.
