2024 Girls Volleyball
REGISTRATION: A Sports Physical on or after 4-1-23 must be on file with the Athletic Office in order to participate in a sport. The WIAA sports physical form MUST BE turned in to the Athletic Office prior to the first day of tryouts/practice in order to be cleared to participate. Registration is now open - click here!
We hope everyone is enjoying summer! It is going fast and volleyball season will be here before we know it. Here is important information for anyone interested in playing Girls Volleyball this fall.
TRYOUTS: BEGIN Monday, August 19th. Please make sure you have completed all requirements with the Athletic Office BEFORE 8/19. All three levels will begin tryouts on 8/19 from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM at BURLINGTON HIGH SCHOOL. All teams will have a short 20-30 minute break, so please bring a small snack.
The goal is to have teams set on Wednesday. Team practices will begin on Thursday and continue daily (Monday-Friday) until the end of the season, with the exception of competition dates. All three levels have a scrimmage on Saturday, 8/24.
Here is a tentative calendar with all currently scheduled practices and competitions. There may be additional competitions added and some changes to practice, so please check back often. SCHEDULE
CAMP: There is a camp on Monday, July 22nd being held through Burlington Community Education where BHS staff will work with athletes to help prepare for upcoming season ahead. Please register in advance if you are interested.
SPIRIT WEAR: Our spirit wear stores are open now. There are two stores open - so please check out both. The stores will close 7/16. There will be an additional store open after tryouts, however this store will guarantee items are here for the beginning of the season.
