Archery
BHS Archery Club is open to any BHS student. All ability levels are welcome. Equipment is provided for those who need it otherwise, students may bring their own. All shooting is done indoors at Buck Trail Archery Club in Burlington and is free of charge. Basic instruction is provided to help you be a better archer or just to have fun. Games and contests are all part of the fun! This is a winter club and meets weekly on Thursdays at Buck Trail Archery Club for about 90 minutes. Contact Mr. Sulik for information.
Bowling Team
The high school bowling season runs from September through early March with practices/league competitions three afternoons a week and bowling meets on most Sundays, December through February. The cost per student is around $300+ for the entire season depending on fundraising efforts. Contact Coach Anderson at Towne and Country Lanes at 763-7333 for more info.
Ice Fishing Team
This team is dedicated to offering students the opportunity to engage in ice fishing. Meetings and practices take place during the week to help students learn how to ice fish and practice those skills. Throughout the season, the team travels to optional tournaments to compete with other high school fishing teams. The club is for all levels from the person wanting to learn more to the experienced outdoorsman/woman. Contact Mr. Hendricks for more information.
Shooting Team
This Spring/Summer team offers competition in various shooting categories. Practices are 2 times a week and meets are on weekends, March – July. Registration is $200 with an added cost of ammo. Contact Ryan Calkins for more information.
Ski and Snowboard Club
Learn how to ski or snowboard. The club card includes one free lesson, after that there is a fee. You can bring your family on the club nights - and they can pay the same student rates! Students must attend 3 of the 6 ski club nights to join. The club typically meets six Fridays in the winter months at Alpine Valley (transport on your own) plus two 15-minute meetings in the fall. Additional fees will apply for Ski club cards, lift tickets, and rentals. Contact Mr. Dennert or Mrs. Dennert for information.
